Murata's PKHPS0013E40 series pin-type piezoelectric sounders produce high sound pressure level from a compact component, allowing your device to produce feedback, warnings, and other sounds that are clearly audible.
The PKHPS0013E40 series sounders are 12.6 millimeters in diameter and 9.4 millimeters in height. Typically the sound pressure level a sounder produces is proportional to its case size, but the PKHPS0013E40 series uses frequency control technology to achieve a SPL of 83 dB. This results in a compact footprint with an SPL equivalent to medium or large size sounders, providing customers with more design freedom and enabling smaller designs. The compact size of the PKHPS0013E40 series also allows for tape packaging rather than bulk packaging that sounders are typically delivered in. This leads to a dramatically lower mounting cost using automated assembly and soldering processes.
