STMicroelectronics STM32N6 High Performance Microcontrollers

Video Description

This product video is brought to you by Mouser Electronics.

The STM32N6 series is STMicroelectronics' most advanced line of microcontrollers, designed to bring high-performance computing and artificial intelligence capabilities to edge devices. At its core is the Arm Cortex-M55 processor running at 800 MHz, complemented by ST's proprietary Neural-ART Accelerator—a neural processing unit capable of delivering up to 600 GOPS (INT8). This combination enables efficient real-time inference for complex AI tasks such as computer vision and audio processing, making it suitable for applications in smart factories, automotive systems, and wearable technology.

Beyond AI, the STM32N6 excels in multimedia processing. It features a dedicated computer vision pipeline with a MIPI CSI-2 interface and an integrated image signal processor (ISP), ensuring compatibility with a wide range of cameras. The inclusion of an H.264 hardware encoder and the NeoChrom™ graphics accelerator allows for rich and responsive graphics, supporting video streaming over various interfaces such as USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth . With 4.2 MB of contiguous embedded RAM and high-speed external memory interfaces, the STM32N6 is well-equipped to handle demanding multimedia applications.
