  • A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate analog ground plane is recommended. Keep the analog and digital grounds separate and connect them at a single point. Use short, direct traces for the analog signals and avoid crossing digital signals over the analog signals.
  • Use a low-jitter clock source with a frequency of 1 GHz or higher. The clock input should be a differential signal with a 100-ohm differential impedance. Use a clock buffer or a clock generator with a low phase noise to minimize jitter.
