  • TI recommends a 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane, and to keep analog and digital signals separate. Use short, direct traces for analog signals, and avoid crossing digital signals over analog signals. Also, decouple the power supply with 0.1uF and 10uF capacitors.
  • Use the internal calibration mode (CAL pin) to set the gain and offset. Apply a known input voltage, then short the CAL pin to ground. The device will adjust its gain and offset to match the input voltage. Refer to the datasheet for specific calibration procedures.
