Abracon recommends a symmetrical PCB layout with a solid ground plane, and the oscillator should be placed as close as possible to the microcontroller or IC. A minimum of 2-layer PCB is recommended, with the oscillator on the top layer and the ground plane on the bottom layer.
To ensure the oscillator starts up correctly, Abracon recommends applying power to the oscillator slowly (dv/dt < 10V/us) and ensuring that the power supply is stable and noise-free. Additionally, the oscillator should be decoupled from the power supply with a 10nF to 100nF capacitor.
The ASFLMB-30.000MHZ-LR-T has an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, but it can be customized for extended temperature ranges upon request.
