  • Texas Instruments recommends a 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane, and to keep the analog and digital sections separate. Use short, direct traces for the analog inputs and outputs, and avoid crossing digital signals over the analog section.
  • To ensure accurate temperature measurement, use a thermocouple with a high-quality junction, and ensure good thermal contact between the thermocouple and the DS8922AM. Also, calibrate the device according to the datasheet, and consider using a cold junction compensation (CJC) sensor.
