  • A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate power plane is recommended. Keep the analog and digital sections separate, and use a common ground point for the analog and digital grounds.
  • Calibrate the sensor in a controlled environment, and ensure proper sensor sealing to prevent contamination. Use a low-pass filter to reduce noise and averaging to improve accuracy.
  • The maximum cable length for the I2C interface is approximately 3 meters (10 feet) due to signal attenuation and capacitance. Use a repeater or buffer for longer distances.
  • Use the EN pin to control the power mode. Set EN high to enable the device and low to disable. The device will enter low power mode when EN is low, reducing current consumption to <1 μA.
