To ensure reliable operation at high temperatures, Nexperia recommends following the recommended operating conditions, using a suitable heat sink, and ensuring good thermal contact between the device and the heat sink. Additionally, consider using a thermal interface material to reduce thermal resistance.
Although the datasheet specifies a maximum input voltage of 5V, Nexperia recommends limiting the input voltage to 4.5V to ensure reliable operation and to prevent damage to the device.
The PDTC144ETVL is not hermetically sealed, so it's not recommended for use in high-humidity environments. If you must use it in such an environment, consider applying a conformal coating to protect the device from moisture.
