A good PCB layout for optimal thermal performance would be to have a large copper area connected to the thermal pad, and to use thermal vias to dissipate heat to the other side of the board. A minimum of 2oz copper thickness is recommended.
To ensure proper soldering, use a soldering iron with a temperature of 250°C to 260°C, and apply a small amount of solder paste to the pads. Use a soldering technique that minimizes the time the iron is in contact with the device.
The maximum allowed voltage on the input pins is 5.5V, exceeding this may cause damage to the device.
To handle ESD protection, use an ESD wrist strap or mat, and ensure that the device is stored in an anti-static bag or tube. Avoid touching the device pins or handling the device in a way that may generate static electricity.
The recommended operating temperature range for the PMV250EPEAR is -40°C to 150°C, however, the device can operate up to 175°C for short periods of time.
