• What is the recommended PCB layout for optimal thermal performance of the RUEF700?
  A thermal pad on the bottom of the device should be connected to a large copper area on the PCB to dissipate heat efficiently. A minimum of 2 oz copper thickness is recommended.
• How do I ensure the RUEF700 is properly soldered to the PCB?
  Use a soldering iron with a temperature of 250°C to 270°C. Apply a small amount of solder paste to the thermal pad and reflow at 260°C for 1-2 seconds. Avoid overheating or using excessive solder.
• What is the maximum allowed voltage transient for the RUEF700?
  The RUEF700 can withstand voltage transients up to 1.5 times the maximum rated voltage (Vdrm) for a duration of 100 ms. However, it's recommended to limit transients to 1.2 times Vdrm for reliable operation.
• Can I use the RUEF700 in a high-frequency switching application?
  Yes, but be aware that the RUEF700 has a limited di/dt rating. Ensure that the switching frequency is below 100 kHz to prevent excessive voltage stress and reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI).
