  • A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate power plane is recommended. Keep the decoupling capacitors close to the IC and use a low-ESR capacitor for the output filter.
  • Use a shielded enclosure, keep the PCB away from the enclosure walls, and ensure good grounding. Also, use a common-mode choke and a ferrite bead in the input and output lines, respectively.
  • The maximum ambient temperature for reliable operation is 85°C. However, the device can operate up to 105°C with derating.
  • Use an external OVP circuit with a zener diode and a resistor. For UVP, use a voltage supervisor IC or a dedicated UVP circuit.
