  • A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane, separate analog and digital power planes, and a star-configuration for the analog and digital grounds is recommended. Additionally, keep the analog and digital signal traces separate and avoid crossing them over each other.
  • Use a 100-ohm differential termination resistor (RT) between the positive and negative analog input pins, and a 50-ohm series resistor (RS) at the input of each differential pair to match the impedance of the source.
  • Use a single-ended clock input (CLKIN) with a 50-ohm series resistor and AC-couple it to the clock input pin. Ensure proper clock synchronization by using a clock buffer or a clock generator with a low jitter and a stable frequency.
  • Use the internal PGA (Programmable Gain Amplifier) to adjust the gain of the analog input signal. The PGA gain can be set to 1, 2, 4, or 8 using the SPI interface. Additionally, use the internal voltage reference (VREF) to set the analog input range.
