ADS807E Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  • The recommended power-on sequence is to apply VCC first, followed by AVCC, and then the analog input signal. This ensures proper device operation and prevents latch-up.
  • To minimize noise and interference, keep the analog and digital grounds separate, use a solid ground plane, and keep the analog input traces away from digital traces. Also, use a low-pass filter on the analog input to reduce high-frequency noise.
  • The maximum sampling rate of the ADS807E is 100 kSPS. However, the actual sampling rate may be limited by the system's clock frequency, analog input bandwidth, and digital output data rate.
