  • A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate power plane is recommended. Keep the input and output capacitors close to the IC, and use a Kelvin connection for the sense resistor.
  • Use a low-ESR capacitor (e.g., ceramic or film) for the sense capacitor (CSENSE). Ensure the sense resistor (Rsense) is connected between the source and the drain of the internal FET, and the sense capacitor is connected between the sense resistor and ground.
