  • Texas Instruments recommends a 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane, and to keep analog and digital signals separate. Use short, direct traces for the analog inputs and outputs, and avoid crossing digital signals over analog signals.
  • Use a 10nF to 100nF capacitor between the OSCIN pin and GND to filter out high-frequency noise. Additionally, use a ferrite bead or a 10Ω to 100Ω resistor in series with the OSCIN pin to further reduce noise.
  • Power up the VCC pin first, followed by the AVCC pin, and then the digital supply pins (DVCC and DVSS). Ensure that the analog supply pins (AVCC and AVSS) are powered up before the digital supply pins.
  • Use a 0.1uF to 1uF capacitor between the REF pin and GND to filter out noise and ensure a stable reference voltage. Additionally, keep the REF pin away from digital signals and noise sources.
  • The TLC3548IPW's analog output can drive up to 200pF of capacitive load. Exceeding this limit may cause instability or oscillations.
