  • A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate layer for the battery voltage is recommended. Keep the high-current paths short and wide, and use thermal vias to dissipate heat.
  • Calibrate the fuel gauge by charging and discharging the battery multiple times, and use the Learn Cycle feature to update the gauge's internal parameters. Refer to the application note SLUA364 for detailed calibration procedures.
